Entreprenuer Magazine talks biz with billionaires

In the February 2008 issue of Entreprenuer Magazine, they talk money, business and life with billionaires Marc Ecko and David Hitz.

Entrepreneur asked Marc Ecko, of Marc Ecko Enterprises, the following:

Do you have any advice you want to give to readers?
There's a book by Daniel Goleman, Working With Emotional Intelligence. That was a big tipping point for me, applying that to my business.

I don't think there's one silver bullet that will shoot you to the moon. Not being emotional and being able to call shit on yourself and on the people around you is really important.

The Bucket List: A corporate billionaire and a working class mechanic say "do it now"

The Bucket List is the old story of two diverse, rich/poor individuals who share a hospital room and then go on to live life better and to the fullest.

Sounds, kind of elementary and banal, yet it works on the screen in The Bucket List. It will put a smile on your face and maybe make you work on that self improvement list of yours.

The movie tells the tale of a corporate billionaire and a working class mechanic that bump into each other in a hospital. They have nothing in common until they start talking and realize that they need to accomplish a whole list of things until they “kick the bucket.”

It is worth seeing for billionaires and non-billionaires alike.
